Can you imagine a world without computer? Without the Internet? Sure, we can live without almost anything, really. But it's difficult to imagine living without these two technological advances. Also, we have become so dependent on them!
This writing assignment is your opportunity to share your opinions and to talk about how you use your computer and the Internet. Here's an example:
My computer and I
I think the computer has completely changed our lives, and my life, of course. I really cannot imagine doing all the different things I do today without my computer or the Internet.
I use the computer to communicate with my friends. For example, I use FaceBook and Messenger to talk to them. I think I spend about 2 hours per day chatting with them and posting information on Facebook. I always update my profile.
I also use the Internet to study and to do my homework from school. I usually use Google or Wikipedia to search for information to help me with my school assignments. I also use the computer to make Power Point presentations and work on projects.
Finally, I cannot imagine my life without my computer. I use it every day and it's very important to me. The Internet too. Can anyone live without the Internet today?

I think my computer is very important today in my life and the Internet too. With the computer it's easier to do anything I need to do.
ReplyDeleteI can use it to study, to make assignmets, to surf on the Internet, to shop and it's possible to talk to other people on the computer. I use it to talk on messenger, I like to use google to search for information, check my e-mails and to download music.
I use the Internet every day and I spend 25-30 hours per week online and today I can't live without the Internet. :)
I use the Windows 7 in my computer.

Wow!!! I don't use Windows 7 yet. I use Windows XP. But, the next computer I buy will surely come with 7. It must be really cool. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't use the windows 7 yet. I just use the Windows XP. But this is not important. For me the computer is totaly necessary. I use it to do somethings. I write e-mails, I see videos on youtube, I use to download music from Ares. I check my e-mails every day. The internet is essential to my studies, I have to access the University's page for find my homework. So, anyway I don't imagine my live without my computer and without the internet. Hugs

I need the computer in my life because I can find information. First because in my school I have a lot of assignments, and second because we need information about the world. I don’t shop on the internet. I prefer to see the product live, because it’s safer. I use the computer for work, communication and for fun. I use the computer 1 hour per day. Finally, I think the computer is part of my life.
ReplyDeleteI think the computer and the internet are very importante for me. The internet changed the life of the many people. It brought a better way, to work, to study, to comunicate and for fun.
ReplyDeleteI used the computer to comunicate with my friends and family. i use Orkut, Msn Menssenger and e-mai to talk them. I spend about maybe 3 hours per day on the computer.
I also use the computer for school. I always use MS Word and Power Point to do projects. The site google is very important for me because i search for information there.
I also use the internet for fun. Finally, the computer is very importante for humianity and it's revolutionized people's lives.
The Internet changed the way people find information. Fact. Was created the website 'Google' became the most popular search engine, more complete than the Enciclopedia by Diderot, created centuries before. But, everything has it's bad side and good side. 'Wikipedia' for example isn't good. People post all kind of information.
ReplyDeleteComputers changed the way that people work int the office too. Another fact. Work became more agile, e-mails for example allow people to talk to other people all around the world; partner companies use e-mail to communicate. The bad side is there are employers who insist on use MSN on the Internet (laughter) or join chat rooms. At work, this isn't cool.

I think the computer is useful for work, and for study.But I think I can live without it because I can find similar information in the library.
ReplyDeleteI can use my computer to shop, for exemple: buy clothes, sunglasses and books.Some thinks it's cheaper to shop on the Internet than to shop in the store.
It's easier to use the computer to communicate than latters.
You can use foe exemple: face book, orkut, twitter, my space and MSN. I don't spend nearly as more time in the computer as my brother.He spend about 3 hours in the computer, and I (when i don't have work for school) about 1 hour in a week.
For my work in school I use Google and Wikipedia, but i think the library has more information.
Finally, I can live without it.

ReplyDeleteI use the computer to communicate with my friends. For example, I use skype, orkut and MSN to talk to them. I think I spend about 7 or 8 hours per day talking with them and reading the news.
I also use the Internet to study, to do my Google.
Finally I can't live without my computer.
